Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and proud grandfather, is facing a heartbreaking loss. His grandchild, Kai Love Broadus, passed away just ten days after being born, leaving the family in deep sorrow.
Kai, born September 15, 2019, to Snoop’s son Corde Broadus and his wife Soraya Love, brought light into the family in his brief time. Corde shared the news on Instagram, writing:
“My son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world. His energy will live on, and these 10 days of love will always be special to us.”
While the cause of death was not publicly shared, the family has honored Kai’s memory in meaningful ways. Corde and Soraya launched the Kai Heart Foundation, turning grief into purpose through community support, healing initiatives, and spreading love in his name.
Kai was Snoop’s third grandchild, part of a growing family that includes:
