Newly declassified FBI interview notes are stirring up a storm, raising serious allegations against Senator Adam Schiff. According to the memos, a whistleblower claims that while Schiff led the House Intelligence Committee, he allegedly approved leaks of classified documents aimed at undermining Donald Trump’s presidency.
The documents, obtained by Just the News, detail interviews with a former Democratic intelligence staffer who served on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) between 2017 and 2023. The staffer, whose identity remains confidential, told FBI agents that Schiff authorized leaks of sensitive intelligence to support the “Russiagate” narrative and potentially build a case against Trump. The memos also point to Rep. Eric Swalwell as a possible conduit for some of the leaks.
In one striking passage, the whistleblower described being called to an all-staff meeting where Schiff allegedly instructed that certain classified information be leaked. The staffer reportedly objected, calling the plan “illegal and unethical,” but was reassured it would go unnoticed. The whistleblower also claims that raising concerns led to their termination—though DOJ memos show no response to that allegation.
Adding to the intrigue, the documents allege Schiff was promised the CIA Director role under a potential Hillary Clinton presidency—a position that never materialized after Trump’s victory. According to the staffer, Schiff allegedly continued pushing for leaks even after the 2016 election.
