Kayleigh McEnany, former White House press secretary and current Fox News contributor, shared exciting news on Monday’s episode of Outnumbered: she and her husband, Sean Gilmartin, are expecting their third child this June.
“We’re so excited,” McEnany announced toward the end of the broadcast. “Sean and I are expecting our third child.” The new baby will be joining their daughter Blake, 5, and son Nash, 2.Describing the joy of the moment, McEnany said, “It’s been a special time. I was pregnant during Christmas and Thanksgiving, and now my daughter runs up to kiss my belly and says, ‘Let me kiss the baby.’”
Her co-hosts were quick to offer their congratulations. Emily Compagno leaned over to say, “We love you so much—congratulations to all five of you. We’re thrilled.”McEnany, 36, laughed off speculation about the baby’s gender, joking that her pink blazer wasn’t a hint. She pointed to her mixed-color shoes and a gender-neutral video banner featuring both pink and blue.
She also shared a sonogram image of the baby and mentioned that the family has a tradition of framing each child’s ultrasound photo to display on their mantle. “We’ll be doing a gender reveal soon,” she added, noting that viewers can follow her journey both on the show and via social media. As part of her announcement, McEnany, who has often spoken openly about her faith, quoted a line from the Bible: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you” (Jeremiah 1:5). She shared that this message is not just about her child, but a reminder to all viewers of their inherent value.
The couple’s love story began in 2015, and they tied the knot in 2017. Gilmartin, a former professional baseball pitcher, retired in 2022. After serving as press secretary under President Donald Trump from 2020 to 2021, McEnany transitioned to broadcasting and is now a familiar face on Fox News, often appearing on shows like The Five, Fox & Friends, and evening programs hosted by Jesse Watters, Laura Ingraham, and Sean Hannity.McEnany’s growing family and ongoing media career continue to keep her in the public eye as she balances motherhood and broadcasting with warmth and enthusiasm.
