Billionaire’s Donation to ICE Agent Fundraiser Draws National Attention

A recent donation by billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman has sparked widespread public discussion following a fatal law-enforcement incident in Minneapolis earlier this year.

Ackman confirmed that he donated $10,000 to a GoFundMe campaign supporting Jonathan Ross, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent involved in the January 7 shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three. The incident occurred during an ICE operation near Good’s home and has since become the subject of investigations, public debate, and protests.
