DHS Officer Criticized After Video Shows Memorial to Renee Nicole Good Disturbed

Public concern surrounding the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, has intensified following the circulation of a video that appears to show a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officer disturbing a memorial set up in her honor.

The footage, which began circulating on social media platforms earlier this week, shows an officer wearing a uniform with a visible “Police DHS” patch walking through a makeshift memorial site containing candles and chalk messages bearing Good’s name. In the video, the officer appears to knock over and kick several candles, prompting immediate criticism and renewed public outrage.
