Jessie Lipskin decided to stop searching for her dream home and create it herself—and she did it in style. She fell in love with a 1966 GMC Greyhound bus (yes, the same kind Keanu Reeves drove in Speed) while scrolling through eBay—and that was the start of an incredible transformation.
Over several years, Jessie turned the vintage bus into a stunning mobile home, pouring her heart into every detail. Inspired by the documentary Garbage Warrior and eco-architect Michael Reynolds’ Earthships, she wanted a sustainable lifestyle without compromising her sense of style. “I wanted a home on wheels that allowed me to explore freely while maintaining my vegan lifestyle,” Jessie shared. “RVs didn’t have the aesthetic I was after, so a vintage bus conversion was perfect—it could even be registered and insured as an RV.”
