In a now-deleted Instagram statement, the 39-year-old model and actress said she did not agree to being filmed. Joy, who reportedly dated Diddy between 2021 and his 2024 arrest, also reflected on what she described as a difficult period in which she ignored her own boundaries to please someone she cared about.<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied\u2026 even if that meant breaking my own boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n
Joy said she once believed the relationship was rooted in love, but now sees that chapter differently. Revisiting the footage, she wrote, was \u201ctriggering\u201d and forced her to confront memories she now views through a more painful lens.<\/p>\n

She also alleged that the video was recorded without her consent and later became part of an extortion attempt. According to Joy, someone who had the footage demanded a large payment and threatened to release it if she did not comply.<\/p>\n

Joy claimed the footage was eventually sold to a major media company, but said the outlet chose not to publish it after determining it was connected to revenge porn and an alleged extortion scheme.<\/p>\n
The actress, who shares 13-year-old son Sire with rapper 50 Cent, said the emotional toll has been especially heavy because of how vulnerable she now believes she was at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just want to hold that girl in that room and get her out of there,\u201d she wrote. \u201cAnd tell her that wasn\u2019t love and she didn\u2019t need to do this for love.\u201d<\/p>\n
The leak also drew public comments from 50 Cent, who appeared to criticize Joy in a series of social media posts. In one post, he suggested their son was the person most affected by the situation. In another, he appeared to direct criticism toward Diddy.<\/p>\n
Joy\u2019s comments arrive as Diddy continues to face broader public scrutiny over past relationships and allegations connected to his personal life and business circle.<\/p>\n
Joy was previously named in a 2024 lawsuit filed by Diddy\u2019s former producer, Rodney Jones. In that filing, Jones alleged that Joy was among several women paid to act as sex workers for the music mogul.<\/p>\n
Joy strongly denied the allegation at the time, calling it false and defamatory.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am deeply hurt by the lies in Rodney Jones\u2019 lawsuit,\u201d she said in a previous statement. \u201cThe claim that I am a sex worker is 100 percent false and character assassination.\u201d<\/p>\n
She also said then that she was exploring legal options against both Jones and his attorney.<\/p>\n
