Charlie Kirk, 31, was fatally shot during an event at Utah Valley University on Wednesday. The FBI and the Utah Department of Public Safety have confirmed that the attack was targeted, though details about the suspect were initially limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During Thursday\u2019s briefing, officials described the suspect as college-aged. Authorities also confirmed that a firearm believed to have been used in the shooting\u2014a high-powered, bolt-action rifle\u2014was recovered in a nearby wooded area. A footprint connected to the incident was also recovered, offering investigators crucial leads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
