Not only did they share a kiss on stage, but the official White House X account posted a photo of them holding hands. Instead of calming speculation about their marriage, the post ignited a full-blown social media storm \u2014 with critics calling the display \u201cthe worst attempt at damage control\u201d they\u2019d ever seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For years, the Trump marriage has drawn intense scrutiny. Reports of strain have circulated repeatedly, including claims from Trump biographer Michael Wolff that Melania \u201chates\u201d her husband.
