Sean Swayze, the younger brother of legendary actor Patrick Swayze, has passed away at the age of 63, adding another moment of sorrow to a family long familiar with loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The news was confirmed by his son, Jesse Swayze, who told TMZ that Sean died in Los Angeles on December 15. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office reported the cause of death as complications related to liver disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sean is survived by his children\u2014daughter Cassie and sons Kyle and Jesse\u2014who now join extended family and friends in mourning his passing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sean\u2019s passing comes more than 16 years after Patrick Swayze\u2019s death in 2009. Patrick, best known for iconic roles in Dirty Dancing<\/em>, Ghost<\/em>, and Road House<\/em>, died at 57 following a highly publicized battle with pancreatic cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
