Adrian had been dead for three months.
At least, that was what I believed.
I had stood beside his mother at his funeral. I had watched a closed casket lowered into the ground. I had gone home afterward and tried to figure out how someone could possibly continue living when the future they’d planned had disappeared overnight.
Now I was hiding in a restroom at a wedding.
Because the man I had buried was alive.
And in less than twenty minutes, he was supposed to walk down the aisle.
