A Family Defined by Talent and Tragedy
Sean’s passing comes more than 16 years after Patrick Swayze’s death in 2009. Patrick, best known for iconic roles in Dirty Dancing, Ghost, and Road House, died at 57 following a highly publicized battle with pancreatic cancer.
The Swayze family has endured multiple losses over the decades. Sean and Patrick’s parents, Jesse Wayne Swayze and Patsy Swayze, passed away in 1982 and 2013, respectively. The siblings also experienced the loss of their sister Vicky in 1994. Today, Sean is survived by his remaining siblings, actor Don Swayze and actress Bambi Swayze.
