Authorities investigating the disappearance of a woman named Nancy say new information from her implanted cardiac support device has helped narrow their search to an industrial area several kilometers from her home.

According to preliminary briefings, data retrieved from Nancy’s medical device showed a sudden spike in physiological stress shortly before the signal stopped transmitting. The final location ping placed the device roughly five kilometers from her residence, leading investigators to focus on a nearby commercial zone that includes waste-processing facilities.
