Tragic Loss: Three Sisters Die Shortly After Visiting Their Father

A desperate manhunt is underway in Washington state after three young sisters—Paityn (9), Evelyn (8), and Olivia (5) Decker—were found dead following a court‑mandated custody visit with their father, Travis Decker. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward as the search intensifies.

Timeline of Events

May 30, 2025 – Custody Drop-off:
Travis Decker picked up his daughters for a scheduled visitation in Wenatchee, Washington. He promised to return them by 8 PM—but they never came home. Concerned, their mother, Whitney Decker, reported them missing that evening. Phone calls to Travis went straight to voicemail, raising alarms. Court records show growing concerns about his mental health.

May 31 – Missing Persons Alert:
Investigators noted the family missed a planned 5K event. An Endangered Missing Person Alert was issued, though it did not qualify for an Amber Alert.

June 2 – Discovery at Rock Island:
Tragically, a hiker discovered Travis’s abandoned 2017 white GMC pickup near Rock Island Campground in Chelan County around 3 PM. Inside the truck were his wallet, cellphone, and personal items. Nearby, the three sisters were found deceased, bound with zip ties and with plastic bags over their heads. Autopsies later confirmed homicidal suffocation.

June 6–9 – Autopsy Results:
The cause of death was confirmed as suffocation, with all three deaths ruled homicide.
