Major U.S. Airline Updates Policy Allowing Removal of Passengers for Misconduct

Official Policy Update

United Airlines (UA) has updated its Refusal of Transport policy to make it clear: passengers who fail to use headphones while listening to audio or video can be removed from the aircraft. The rule sits alongside other serious offenses, like interfering with flight attendants, boarding while intoxicated, or any disruptive behavior.
