A seven-year-old boy was riding slowly along the sidewalk on an old bicycle. The chain rattled loudly, and the frame showed clear signs of wear. The paint was chipped, and the seat looked like it had been repaired more than once.
To many people passing by, it looked like a bike that had seen better days. But to the boy, it meant everything.
His father had given it to him as a gift. It had been repainted in the garage with a brush and carefully put back together. Even though it was old, the boy rode it proudly, smiling as he held tightly onto the handlebars.
