For nearly three weeks, an eight-year-old girl repeated the same unusual sentence every night before going to sleep. As her mother tucked her in, the child would quietly say, “Mom… my bed feels too tight.”

At first, the comment sounded like something many children might say when trying to explain discomfort. The mattress looked perfectly normal, and nothing about the bed frame or the room seemed out of place. Thinking it might simply be part of her daughter’s imagination—or perhaps the result of a growing child adjusting to a new sleeping position—the mother offered reassurance and tried not to worry.

But the comment didn’t stop.

Night after night, the girl said the same thing: the bed felt strange. Wanting to make sure her daughter slept comfortably, the parents even replaced the mattress with a new one. For a single night, the problem seemed to disappear. Then the same complaint returned.

At that point, the mother began to feel uneasy. While nothing in the room appeared unusual, the consistency of her daughter’s comment made her wonder if something else might be happening. Hoping for peace of mind, she installed a small security camera in the bedroom. Her intention was simple—just to see whether her daughter might be tossing, turning, or bumping the bed frame during the night.

For several nights, the camera footage showed nothing unusual. The room remained calm, and the child slept peacefully. Everything appeared completely normal.
