The nurse stood there, arms crossed, clearly upset.
“Doctor, how could you say something like that? She’s terrified!”
The doctor finally looked up from his notes, completely calm.
“Did it stop her hiccups?” he asked.
The nurse blinked, confused. “Her… hiccups?”
