What began as an exciting day for a group of middle school students quickly turned into a deeply serious situation following a traffic accident during their journey.
A Day Meant for Achievement
Students from Kenwood Middle School had been preparing for weeks to participate in a regional competition. Their project—an electric race car—represented teamwork, dedication, and creativity. For many of them, this trip was an important milestone and a chance to showcase their hard work.
On the morning of the event, 24 students, along with four adults and a driver, boarded a school bus and set off toward their destination in Jackson, Tennessee.
