A fast-moving fire in Pamplona Alta, located in San Juan de Miraflores, caused widespread damage and prompted a large emergency response over the weekend.
According to early reports, the fire began in the afternoon and spread quickly through the densely built neighborhood. Thick smoke was visible across parts of southern Lima as emergency services worked to contain the situation.
Firefighters faced significant challenges reaching the affected area due to narrow streets and uneven terrain. Despite these difficulties, crews worked continuously to control the flames and prevent further spread.
