Authorities in Louisiana are investigating a serious domestic violence incident in the Shreveport area that resulted in multiple fatalities and injuries.
According to police reports, a 31-year-old man identified as Shamar Elkins is believed to have been involved in a violent incident that began during a domestic dispute. Law enforcement officials say the situation escalated across two locations, resulting in multiple victims being shot.
Police confirm that several children were among those who lost their lives, and two adult women survived the incident with serious injuries. One of the survivors is reported to be the suspect’s spouse.
