A quiet evening quickly turned into a moment of shock for residents as an intense storm swept through the area, bringing unusually large hail and powerful winds.
What started as a calm night changed in minutes. Dark clouds rolled in fast, followed by loud thunder and strong gusts of wind. Then came the hail—massive chunks of ice falling from the sky, some as large as golf balls and others reportedly even bigger. The noise alone was enough to alarm everyone nearby, as the hail struck rooftops, windows, and vehicles with incredible force.
Many residents rushed indoors, trying to protect themselves and their property. The sound of the storm was overwhelming, described by some as similar to heavy objects being thrown against their homes. Visibility dropped, and the sudden intensity left little time to prepare.
As the storm passed, the damage became clear.
