One morning, while heading outside to water the flowers, I noticed something strange sitting in the middle of the garden bed.
At first glance, it looked disturbing — a reddish, slimy shape rising from the soil with an incredibly strong odor. For a moment, I honestly thought I had discovered some kind of unusual creature or something that didn’t belong there.
The appearance alone was enough to stop me in my tracks.
