People notice hands more than they realize. During a conversation, a handshake, a meal, or even a simple moment at work, hands are often right there in plain sight. Because of that, many people make quick judgments based on nails, skin, stains, scars, or roughness before they know anything about the person.
But those first impressions can be wrong.
Hands do not always tell a story of poor hygiene or neglect. Sometimes they tell a story of work, responsibility, creativity, sacrifice, and survival.
First Impressions Are Not Always Fair
People are quick to form opinions. A person may see stained nails, dry skin, rough fingers, or chipped polish and immediately assume someone is careless or unclean.
That reaction usually does not come from facts. It comes from habits, culture, and social expectations.
