Vincent leaned back in his office chair, sunlight streaming through the windows of his penthouse. Normally, the business section of the newspaper would occupy his thoughts, but today his focus was on his son, Elliot, who sat on the sofa, legs swinging with curiosity.
“Dad,” Elliot asked softly, “why do some people have so little?”
