A series of leaked screenshots from a private messaging group has sparked renewed debate in Minnesota over the relationship between political figures and activist networks opposed to federal immigration enforcement.
The messages, shared publicly by independent journalist Cam Higby, allegedly come from an encrypted Signal group known as “MN ICE Watch.” According to Higby, the group was used by activists to share information related to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity in and around Minneapolis.
