The U.S. Senate on Tuesday confirmed Anne-Leigh Moe, President Donald Trump’s nominee, to serve as a judge on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. The confirmation vote passed by a margin of 53–46.
Following the vote, President Trump acknowledged the confirmation in a public statement, highlighting Moe’s background in Florida’s judicial system and her experience at both the appellate and trial court levels.
Moe has served on Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal since 2022. Prior to that role, she spent nearly ten years as a circuit judge in Florida’s Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, which includes Hillsborough County. Earlier in her career, she worked as an assistant state attorney in Tampa.
