According to former NYPD hostage negotiator Wallace Zeins, the details suggest sophistication. “Nancy is 5’5”, 150 pounds, in fragile health, and unable to walk or run,” Zeins told CNN. “A situation like this likely involves multiple individuals working together.”

Reports indicate that a purported ransom note demanding a large payment in Bitcoin was left behind.
