Super Bowl LX, held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, pitted the New England Patriots against the Seattle Seahawks, and the music lineup quickly became a hot topic. Bad Bunny’s halftime show split fans, drawing both praise and criticism, while Green Day’s pre-show performance of American Idiot fueled speculation that the band was sending a pointed message to the Trump administration.
Charlie Puth followed Green Day with the anthem, hitting every note with precision and control. Yet, despite his technical skill, some viewers weren’t convinced it was performed live.
“Seemed like Charlie Puth was lip syncing the national anthem,” one user wrote on X. “It was too perfect. Not one note off. Maybe he’s just that good?”
