TPUSA, founded in 2012 by conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has continued its high-profile initiatives even after Kirk’s tragic assassination in September 2025. His widow, Erika Kirk, now serves as CEO and chair of the organization.
This year, TPUSA and several conservative commentators criticized the official Super Bowl halftime choice, arguing it didn’t reflect what they consider “traditional” American culture. In response, they created their own livestreamed alternative show, branded “The All-American Halftime Show”, highlighting “faith, family, and freedom.”
The lineup is packed with country and rock stars known for their American roots and political alignment. Headlining is Kid Rock, with performances by Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett. The show was originally intended to run concurrently with the official halftime performance.
