DoorDash, the company Palazuelos works for, issued a statement confirming they are cooperating with authorities: \u201cWe are urgently investigating reports that an individual detained in relation to the Nancy Guthrie case was a delivery driver. We have reached out to law enforcement and are ready to support their critical investigation in any way we can. Like tens of millions around the world, our hearts are with the Guthrie family during this heart-wrenching time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case has also involved two ransom demands reportedly asking for $6 million in bitcoin for Nancy\u2019s safe return. While the notes did not include direct threats if the payment was not made, they have added urgency to the investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adding to the developments, the FBI released new surveillance images showing an unidentified individual tampering with the video doorbell at Nancy\u2019s home on the morning of her disappearance. The person is dressed in a balaclava, gloves, a zipped jacket, and carrying a backpack.
