After the death of her only son, Aless Lequio Garc\u00eda, Obreg\u00f3n welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy using sperm her son had preserved before his illness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aless, Obreg\u00f3n\u2019s only biological child, was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, a rare bone cancer, in 2018 at the age of 27. On April 5, 2023, Obreg\u00f3n announced the birth of her granddaughter, Ana Sandra, affectionately called Anita. The child was conceived using the sperm her son had stored, combined with an egg donor.
