In November 2013, what started as a seemingly ordinary cold quickly turned into a life-or-death crisis. Alex, a father from Stockbridge, Hampshire, contracted a severe streptococcal infection that escalated into toxic shock syndrome—a condition so aggressive it destroyed tissue, attacked his organs, and left doctors giving him just a three-percent chance of survival.

Youtube/Real Stories

Within hours, his limbs and parts of his face were turning black.
