She also recalls instances of being judged or harassed at work due to her appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI used to hate my body,\u201d Summer said. \u201cI was often told to cover up or leave certain places because of my appearance. It was frustrating, especially when I was just trying to live normally.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medical intervention was limited when she first noticed the growth at age 14, as doctors initially declined reduction surgery due to her age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Finding Confidence and Community<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over time, Summer has embraced her body and turned her experience into a platform for connecting with others. She now shares her journey on Instagram, where she has more than 264,000 followers, and uses social media to promote body positivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen I was younger, I hated the attention,\u201d she explained. \u201cNow I\u2019m confident in my own skin, and I\u2019ve learned to focus on the positive aspects of my body and how it inspires conversations about confidence and self-acceptance.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Summer\u2019s story highlights the physical and emotional challenges that can accompany rare medical conditions.
