Speaking at a press briefing on Tuesday, February 3, Trump called the case \u201cterrible\u201d and said he plans to reach out to Guthrie personally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nancy Guthrie went missing from her Catalina Foothills home, north of Tucson, Arizona, on Saturday, January 3. Authorities are treating the case as a criminal investigation after discovering signs of possible forced entry and blood at the residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAt this point, investigators believe she was taken from the home against her will, possibly in the middle of the night,\u201d Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said. \u201cWe have an 84-year-old woman who went to bed Saturday night and came Sunday morning\u2014she\u2019s gone. We believe she did not leave on her own.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump said he intends to call Savannah Guthrie soon and offered federal support to Arizona law enforcement in the search. \u201cI think it\u2019s terrible,\u201d he told reporters. \u201cVery unusual situation, but we\u2019re going to find out.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sheriff Nanos emphasized the urgency of the case, noting that Nancy relies on essential medications and suffers from other health challenges. \u201cWe don\u2019t need another tragic ending.
