Suspicious Shower Routine Sparks Emergency Call

Every evening, without fail, my new daughter-in-law, Daniela, would disappear into the bathroom after dinner and stay there for more than an hour. The sound of running water never stopped, and a strange scent lingered — not her usual perfume, but something different.

At first, I thought it was curious. Then it became concerning. Daniela had been married to my son, Leonardo, for just three months. She was polite, attentive, and seemed like the perfect daughter-in-law. But this daily ritual disturbed me: every evening, at exactly 8 p.m., she locked herself in the bathroom. When she emerged, her hair was wet — but the room was never steamed up, and the unusual scent remained.

One evening, I noticed an unfamiliar hygiene wipe in the trash, carrying a strong minty smell. My mind raced: Was someone else in the house? Or was there something more serious happening?

Leonardo was away on a work trip, so I decided to investigate cautiously. I tried setting up a small hidden camera, but every time Daniela entered the bathroom, the image went black. I then pressed my ear to the door and listened. The water was not running continuously; it was being turned on and off at intervals. I could also hear murmured voices.

Then I heard a man’s voice, distinct and clear:
— “Yes, wait a moment. I’m coming.”

My heart froze. No one else was supposed to be in the house. Panicked, I immediately called the police, explaining the situation. The dispatcher assured me that officers were on the way and advised me to stay calm and avoid confronting anyone.

Minutes felt like hours as I waited, my eyes fixed on the bathroom door. Finally, the doorbell rang. I let the officers in and quickly briefed them. They approached the bathroom, knocking firmly.

“Police! Is anyone in there?” one officer called.

Silence filled the room — except for the steady drip of water. The tension was unbearable as everyone waited, hoping for a safe resolution to the mysterious and unsettling situation.

@theresarubalcava1 Do you think she will be able to go thru with this? What do you think will happen next? #pov #karen #motherinlaw #daughterinlaw #fypシ ♬ original sound – Theresa Rubalcava
