The first time people saw the house, they didn’t see potential.
They saw a problem.
The porch was deteriorating. Windows were broken. The roof had suffered years of neglect, and every visible detail seemed to suggest that the old structure was beyond saving. To some neighbors, the answer appeared obvious: tear it down and start over.
