Early one morning, I stepped outside for some fresh air when something unusual on the ground caught my attention.
A long, dark creature was slowly moving across the soil. At first, I assumed it was some kind of worm, but something about its appearance immediately stood out.
Its body was smooth and elongated, with markings running along its surface. Most surprising was its head. Instead of the rounded shape I expected from an earthworm, it was broad and flattened, almost resembling a tiny shovel.
I watched from a distance as it moved steadily across the ground.
