What began as a honeymoon in the scenic hills of Shillong, India, ended in a tragic criminal investigation that shocked the country.
Raja Raghuvanshi, a businessman from Indore, had traveled to Meghalaya with his newly married wife, Sonam Raghuvanshi, in May 2025. The couple was expected to spend their first days of marriage enjoying the region’s natural beauty.
Instead, Raja disappeared during the trip.
Days later, his body was discovered in a remote gorge. The circumstances surrounding his death prompted a major investigation, with authorities examining the couple’s movements, communications, and relationships.
