At first glance, this vintage-style illustration appears to show nothing more than a peaceful landscape. There are rocks, trees, fallen logs, quiet water, and even a canoe carrying two people. But somewhere within the scene, a hidden figure is waiting to be discovered.
The strange part is that the man isn’t simply standing behind a tree or hiding between the rocks. His face is actually formed by the landscape itself. Once you see the larger shape, the illusion suddenly becomes much easier to understand—but finding it for the first time can be surprisingly difficult.
