Daphne Joy is speaking publicly after a private intimate video allegedly involving her, Sean “Diddy” Combs, and another man appeared online, saying the situation has been painful, humiliating, and tied to a lack of consent.
In a now-deleted Instagram statement, the 39-year-old model and actress said she did not agree to being filmed. Joy, who reportedly dated Diddy between 2021 and his 2024 arrest, also reflected on what she described as a difficult period in which she ignored her own boundaries to please someone she cared about.
“Everybody plays the fool sometime, and I have been the biggest fool,” she wrote. “I just wanted my man at the time to be happy and satisfied… even if that meant breaking my own boundaries.”
Joy Says the Footage Brought Back Painful Memories
Joy said she once believed the relationship was rooted in love, but now sees that chapter differently. Revisiting the footage, she wrote, was “triggering” and forced her to confront memories she now views through a more painful lens.
