He was born at a time when most babies are still quietly growing, hidden from the world and protected by the womb. At just 24 weeks of pregnancy and weighing about 720 grams, this newborn’s life began with urgency, uncertainty and a medical team moving with extraordinary care.
His body was tiny and fragile. An arm was barely thicker than an adult finger. Each breath mattered. Each reading on the monitor mattered. There was no room for delay.
Doctors and nurses worked to stabilize him, warming his body, supporting his breathing and carefully watching signs from organs that were still developing. In those first moments, survival depended on specialized neonatal care and constant attention.
