Her Honeymoon Symptoms Seemed Minor Until They Weren’t

A honeymoon is supposed to be the easy part after the stress of a wedding: time away, quiet mornings, and the first memories of married life. For one couple, that trip became a medical emergency far from home after the bride tried to downplay symptoms that were getting harder to ignore.

She had been feeling unwell, with nausea, dizziness, and pain. Rather than let the illness take over the trip, she reassured her husband that she only needed rest. At first, that explanation seemed believable. Travel can leave people exhausted, dehydrated, anxious, or unsettled by new food and disrupted sleep.

But what looked like ordinary travel discomfort slowly became something much more serious.
