A family in Jardim das Américas is grieving after a two-month-old baby died following an overnight incident that remains under investigation by authorities.
Preliminary information indicates the infant had been with his father at the time. Reports say the father, described as extremely tired, had been holding the baby before falling asleep. Emergency services were later called to the home.
Responders from SAMU went to the residence, but the child could not be revived.

The Civil Police have opened an investigation and are collecting information to clarify the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
