British Woman Shot Dead in Texas After Argument With Father, Inquest Reveals
A tragic family dispute ended in death last year when 23-year-old British woman Lucy Harrison was shot while staying with her father at his home in Prosper, Texas. New details emerged during an inquest at Cheshire Coroner’s Court in the UK, shedding light on the events that led to the heartbreaking incident.
Lucy, a fashion buyer from Warrington, had traveled to the US with her boyfriend, Sam Littler, and was scheduled to fly home on January 10, 2025. According to Littler, tensions escalated that morning over politics and gun ownership, including a heated discussion about former President Donald Trump. The conversation reportedly took a deeply troubling turn when Lucy asked her father how he would feel if she were sexually assaulted. Littler told the court that Kris Harrison’s response referenced his other daughters and left Lucy visibly upset, prompting her to run upstairs.
Moments later, Littler said Kris led Lucy to his bedroom. Within seconds, a gunshot was heard, followed by Kris shouting for his wife and calling 911. Littler described rushing to the room to find Lucy lying near the bathroom entrance as her father appeared distraught and confused.
