New Ransom Note Surfaces in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping Investigation

A new twist has emerged in the ongoing investigation into Nancy Guthrie, mother of TODAY co-anchor Savannah Guthrie. Authorities have confirmed the arrival of another ransom note, adding urgency and complexity to the search for the 84-year-old, who has been missing since February 1.

Nancy was first reported missing after failing to arrive at a friend’s home for a planned church service. Since then, the case has gripped the public’s attention, with law enforcement combing the area around her Tucson residence and releasing surveillance images of a masked, armed suspect seen tampering with the property’s doorbell camera. One man was briefly arrested in connection with the case but later released, leaving investigators still searching for credible leads.

According to TMZ, the latest ransom note contains a highly specific demand. This time, the sender is asking for 1 Bitcoin, linked to a different wallet than previous notes, in exchange for the name of an individual connected to Nancy’s disappearance. The note reportedly includes a chilling warning: “Time is more than relevant.” Authorities have confirmed the note was received at 5:00 AM PST on February 11 and has been handed over to the FBI for investigation.
