Artemis II Mission Sparks Online Buzz as Viewers Question Live Space Feed
NASA’s Artemis II mission made history—but not just for its lunar milestone. A recent live broadcast from the spacecraft sparked debate online, as viewers noticed unexpected visual details floating across the screen.
Breaking Records in Space
Launched on April 1, Artemis II carried astronauts Christina Koch, Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen aboard a 322-foot rocket. The mission shattered the record for the farthest humans have traveled from Earth since Apollo 13 in 1970.
For roughly 25 hours, the crew orbited Earth before starting their journey toward the Moon. Though the mission is a flyby rather than a landing, it plays a critical role in testing spacecraft systems for future lunar exploration.
