Early one morning, a pastor heard an unusual noise outside his front door.
When he opened it, he was surprised to find a donkey standing there. Before he could even react, the animal suddenly collapsed and didn’t move again.
Not quite sure how to handle the situation, the pastor picked up the phone and called the local sheriff.
“Sheriff,” he said, “I’ve got a bit of an unusual problem here. There’s a donkey on my doorstep, and it looks like it’s not going anywhere.”
