A 51-year-old marathon runner’s life took a devastating turn after he was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, and he’s now urging others not to dismiss even the smallest warning signs.
A Life-Altering Diagnosis
Lee Rawlinson, a medical sales representative from Essex, UK, shares his life with his wife, Faye, and their two children, Darcey, 10, and Marley, seven. On Halloween, Lee received the crushing news that his pancreatic cancer had already spread to his liver, giving him just months to live.
Facing the unimaginable, Lee has shifted his focus to creating “magical memories” with his family during what he calls his last Christmas. Through his story, he hopes to raise awareness and help others avoid a similar fate.
“This will be my last Christmas,” Lee said. “I’m facing the jaws of death. My fear isn’t dying itself; it’s leaving my children and my wife behind.”
