A routine pregnancy scan turned into an unforgettable moment for one mother in Kent, England, when doctors noticed something unusual on the ultrasound screen.
Emily Foster was around 20 weeks pregnant when she went in expecting the usual glimpse of her baby — tiny movements, a heartbeat, and maybe a sweet profile picture to take home.
But during the scan, the sonographer paused.
On the screen, there appeared to be soft strands floating around the baby’s head. At first, it looked surprising, but then the room filled with smiles. The baby seemed to already have visible hair before birth.
